We are currently seeking highperforming Scheduling professionals at Manager or Associate Director level to strengthen our growing Project Controls and Assurance capability in Sydney.
In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to senior clients leading the development and assurance of complex project and program schedules while working in an integrated costschedulerisk environment. You will contribute to major investment decisions delivery confidence assessments and recovery strategies for some of Australias most complex infrastructure programs. This role is suited to professionals who want to:
- Lead planning and scheduling on major multibilliondollar programs
- Operate at the interface of delivery assurance and executive decisionmaking
- Mentor and develop highperforming scheduling and project controls teams
- Build a longterm consulting career with a clear pathway to Director
Depending on level your responsibilities will include:
Planning & Scheduling Leadership
- Lead the development review and assurance of integrated master schedules across complex infrastructure programs
- Establish and manage schedule baselines milestones logic critical paths float and performance measurement frameworks
- Assess contractor and deliverypartner schedules for robustness compliance and achievability
- Lead schedule updates forecasting trend analysis and recovery planning
Integrated Project Controls
- Work within an integrated costscheduleriskcontingency framework to support informed decisionmaking
- Support and/or lead Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and scenario modelling
- Integrate schedule outputs into business cases investment submissions and assurance reviews
- Support change control claimsaware schedule assessments and timeimpact analysis
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted daytoday advisor to senior client stakeholders
- Prepare and present clear insightdriven schedule reporting for executive and governance forums
- Collaborate closely with cost risk commercial and assurance specialists
- Support delivery partners while maintaining independence where required
Team & Practice Development (Manager / AD)
- Coach mentor and technically lead schedulers and project controls professionals
- Contribute to the development of bestpractice scheduling standards tools and methodologies
- Support proposals pursuits and client relationship development
- Help shape KPMGs marketleading project controls and assurance offering
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in planning scheduling or project controls within major infrastructure programs
- Strong understanding of bestpractice project controls frameworks (e.g. PMBOK AACE TCM PMI ISO 21500/31000 RES Contingency Guidelines)
- Experience working in integrated costschedulerisk environments ideally including QSRA
- Proficiency with industrystandard tools such as: Oracle Primavera P6 Primavera Risk Analysis / Safran Risk / @Risk Acumen Fuse / Acumen Risk Microsoft Project
- Experience establishing WBS structures baselines performance measurement and resourceloaded schedules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into executivelevel advice.
- Experience in consultancy clientside advisory deliverypartner or Tier1 contractor environments
Qualifications :
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (civil structural mechanical) Architecture Quantity Surveying Construction Management or Project Management.
- Professional certifications or membership (e.g. Contingency Management Professional (CMP) from Risk Engineering Society Engineers Australia PMP PMISP AACE RICS) are highly regarded.
