Qualifications:

• DESE license in Moderate Disabilities Grades PK-8 or Severe Disablilities (All Levels)
• SEI Teacher endoresment Required
• Experience working with students who have significant intellectual impairments experience with behavior management as well as language and communication delays.
• Candidate must be familiar with the TEACCH instructional model and implementing Functional Behavior Plans.
• Teacher should be able to test for both cognitive and functional living skills.
• Candidate must have experience with differentiated instruction evaluating the skills of students with special needs writing reports and IEPs and compiling Alternate Assessment portfolios.
• Familiarity with augmentative communication assistive technology and sign language.

Salary:Commensurate with Malden Public Schoolsteacher salary schedule.
