Job Summary
The Program Manager serves as a team leader providing supervision to program staff as well as overseeing day to-day operations of the program. The Program Manager ensures the delivery of quality care in accordance to the rules and regulations established by the Office of Diversion and Rehabilitation for contracted agencies as well as adhering to the mission of St. Joseph Center.
The Program Managers key areas of responsibility include:
- Develop review and revise all administrative policies and procedures in keeping with program requirements as needed in collaboration with Division Director.
- Oversee service delivery consult regularly with Division Director regarding quality control issues to help maintain the highest standard of services.
- Coordinate the development of co-operative relationships with public safety officers and community partners.
- Collaborate with clinical support staff to provide comprehensive and thorough supervision for staff.
Essential Duties:
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with SJC policies and applicable laws.
- Conduct interviews and oversee new hire onboarding/training.
- Plan assign and delegate work for all direct reports.
- Provide clinical and administrative support to all program and department staff.
- Participate in weekly conference calls and staff meetings.
- Oversee service delivery consulting regularly with the Division Director regarding quality control issues to maintain the highest standard of services.
- Along with the Division Director manage program activities assuring timely completion of progress notes and all forms related to the program.
- Provide assessment crisis intervention mental health and case management services to a small caseload of consumers.
- Collect statistics and prepare reports for both funders and agency use.
- Ensure that fee-for-service billing is submitted to funders thoroughly accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that weekly monthly and quarterly reports are submitted accurately in a timely manner.
- Participate in after-hours on call system.
- Regularly participate in SJC community administration and fundraising activities as needed.
- Participate in appropriate contract related meetings.
- Manage a team of Case Managers and Community Health staff.

Qualifications :
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
- Communicate clearly and effectively and possess the ability to relate to a diverse population.
- Must have excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Ability to use widely supported internet browsers.
- Ability to use electronic health records and various electronic databases.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role required.
- Experience providing mental health and substance use services in a community setting with homeless or at-risk populations.
Education:
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Social Work Human Services or a related field.
Direct Reports:
- This position manages a team of Case Managers and Community Health Workers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Travel Requirements:
- Access to reliable transportation
- Travel to client homes community partner locations and various SJC sites as needed.

Status: Full time/Exempt
Salary: $68556.00 - $74160.00/annually
