Location:Phoenix AZ (Hybrid 3 days in office per week)

Job Summary:

Works closely with business partners and customers to identify stakeholders business requirements during the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Uses an understanding of the existing system architecture to identify the addition of or changes to system interfaces functional system behavior and data requirements.
• Develops and analyzes system functional requirements.
• Facilitates cross-functional team meetings to address business problems or systems issues.
• Documents business requirements and systems specifications.
• Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements. Reviews with the development group for system design and development.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:

• Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines. Considered a subject matter expert within the organization and contributes to the development of new concepts techniques and standards.
• Develops solutions to highly complex and uniquely challenging situations. Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and variables. Expected to make improvements to policies and procedures.
• Works independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion. May act as informal team lead and/or coach less experienced team members.
• Serves as consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives related to policies plans and long-range objective

Work Experience:

• Typically 8 years with bachelors or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• Defines analyzes and documents business requirements functional requirements data requirements and system interface solutions for small-scale release-sized projects or components of larger program-sized projects.
• Expertise with ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards.
• Experience in writing EDI mapping specifications.
• Knowledge of SAP SAP IDOCs XML. RosettaNet and API experience a plus.
• Experience in all phases of B2B project life cycle.
• Experience in trading partner coordination and collaborating with B2B and ERP developers.
