Care Home Manager
Location: Norwich area
Salary: 55000 per annum
Type: Permanent
We are recruiting for a Care Home Manager to lead a well-established residential care home in the Norwich area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and driven manager to take the lead in a warm well-run service that provides residential dementia and respite care in a homely and supportive environment. The home has developed a positive reputation for compassionate care professionalism and a welcoming culture making this a strong opportunity for someone who wants to lead a service with solid foundations and real potential.
The successful candidate will provide visible leadership across the home overseeing operational performance compliance team development and occupancy. This role would suit a confident leader who combines strong commercial awareness with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred care.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the full operational performance of the home
- Maintain and strengthen CQC compliance and regulatory standards
- Lead inspire and develop the staff team
- Manage budgets and support strong financial performance
- Drive occupancy and promote the service effectively within the local market
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents families and stakeholders
- Ensure all records administration and risk management processes are completed effectively
- Promote a culture of dignity compassion quality and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a care home setting
- Must have managed a 30 bed care home for at least 3 years
- Track record of achieving a Good rating
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards safeguarding and compliance
- Experience building positive relationships with regulators families and external professionals
- Strong leadership communication and team development skills
- Ability to balance care quality with occupancy and commercial performance
- Values-led approach with a genuine commitment to person-centred care
