We are looking for a seasoned project management leader who will help build manage and drive a variety of projects in partnership with the various teams across the marketing organization. Youll manage and execute projects from the initial brief to the final deliverable ensuring that all phasesfrom intake and planning to delivery and analysisrun smoothly.
This is an important role and critical for us to continue scaling to match our growth. You are passionate about building comprehensive strategic briefs bringing disparate parts together to make a more cohesive program continuous process improvements and building strong relationships. You will work directly with the head of the corporate marketing functions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from inception to completion ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards deadlines and budget constraints.
- Actively manage all project phases: intake planning creation refinement feedback & approvals delivery analysis reporting and archival.
- Develop comprehensive project briefs that clearly outline objectives timelines and deliverables setting the stage for successful project execution.
- Assign tasks and manage project workflows ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Proactively identify potential risks and establish backup plans ensuring projects stay on track (hope for the best; plan for the worst).
- Track and monitor tasks to ensure that projects stay on track making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Think ahead: stay 2-3 steps ahead in the creative process by continuously reaching out to stakeholders producers partners and vendors.
- Ensure quality assurance by confirming that projects meet marketing requirements adhere to brand guidelines and achieve the desired objectives.
- Establish standardized project management practices such as SLAs creative briefs and SOPs to improve project efficiency and clarity.
- Prepare and deliver weekly proactive status reports to management and stakeholders highlighting team output accomplishments and relevant metrics.
- Manage production and team budgets as well as organize and oversee social content productions.
- Coordinate team briefings project kickoffs internal reviews and other meetings as needed to keep all stakeholders aligned.
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing partners on quarterly project planning ensuring technical feasibility and resourcing availability.
- Oversee and manage project management tools making sure theyre set up and used as efficiently as possible.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience working on creative projects in a marketing environment ideally within an in-house context and for a B2B SaaS company.
- Experience in marketing is a MUST.
- Proven ability to develop and manage comprehensive project briefs workflows and formal intake processes.
- Proficient in the nuances of creative projects: scoping planning resourcing day-to-day project management timeline creation and defining and reducing risks.
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience in stakeholder management and the ability to articulate complex project processes and creative needs.
- Experience in process improvement with a track record of building and refining project management processes for better efficiency.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide teams to deliver high-quality work on time.
- Experience measuring results and aligning them to marketing KPIs with rigorous reporting on project health and team performance.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a pragmatic but flexible approach to managing creative projects.
- Acute attention to detail and accuracy with high standards for work quality.
