Our product & team

This role sits within the team that designs and develops capabilities specifically for the Banking and Financial Services vertical using CSG Quote & Order our cutting-edge CPQ (Configure Price Quote) and order management platform. Built using the latest technology our platform modernizes industries like telecommunications and banking.

Due to growing demand from high-profile Banking and Financial Services customers our team is expanding in 2026 and thats where you come in!

About our technology

Our product frontend is built using the Angular framework and web component technology. We are currently moving towards a micro-frontend architecture and would love to have you on board for the journey!

Our backend is super modern adopting a microservice architecture for scalability and flexibility using Kafka for event streaming and PostgreSQL for data storage.

We use Kubernetes to orchestrate our containers allowing us to offer cloud (AWS & Azure) and on-premise deployment options of our platform. Our infrastructure is maintained by a state-of-the-art gitops/IaC pipeline.

We heavily lean on open-source tools and libraries as well as maintaining our own to make development faster simpler and more consistent. Our code is managed using Git undergoes peer review before we test package and deploy through our CI/CD pipelines.

About the role

Joining our team as a Frontend Software Engineer you will collaborate with our cross-functional team to build features/technology for the CSG Quote & Order product.

In your first 90 days youll get comfortable with our system join a squad build strong relationships with the team and get started building cool new features that our customers love.

What youll do

Build out frontend features using Angular Web Components and REST API technology.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
Participate in code reviews and mentoring of junior developers.
Work with your squad to deliver awesome new features on time and continuously improve.
Collaborate with product and design teams to turn stories into impactful user-friendly UI/X.
Partner up with Test Engineers to assess issues and resolve and bugs.

Role Requirements

3 years of experience in front-end fundamentals (HTML CSS JavaScript)
Good knowledge of building user-friendly UI/UX with modern CSS frameworks (i.e: Tailwind Bootstrap Material Design).
Experience in contemporary JavaScript frameworks (i.e: Angular or React Vue Svelte Nodejs)
The ability to communicate well and work in a collaborative team environment
A bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology related field or equivalent experience.

Work from anywhere: CSG has a global policy called Flexibility First that allows employees to work from wherever they feel most productive. The Quote & Order team does not maintain a dedicated office space so your position will be 100% remote with the exception of several in-person workshops during the year (in Bali see below and Melbourne).
Twice-yearly workshops in Bali: Twice a year the whole Quote & Order team gets together in Bali Indonesia for dedicated in-person time including team presentations hackathon sessions training and team-building activities.
Paid volunteer days: Everyone at CSG gets two paid days per year to volunteer at a community organisation of your choice.
