Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a recognised leader in cloud and digital innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

Assessment & Strategy

• Conduct discovery sessions to map dependencies schemas and networking requirements using AWS Application Discovery Service.
• Define optimal migration strategies (6 Rs: Rehost Replatform Refactor Retire Retain Repurchase).
• Provide technical input for TCO analysis to support migration decisions.

Execution & Modernization

• Lead migrations using AWS MGN DMS and DataSync.
• Refactor applications into containerised microservices with Amazon EKS/ECS.
• Automate environment provisioning with Terraform AWS CDK or CloudFormation.

Networking & Security

• Establish secure connectivity via AWS Client VPN Site-to-Site VPN or Direct Connect.
• Migrate identity providers (LDAP/Active Directory) into AWS IAM and IAM Identity Centre.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (HIPAA PCI-DSS SOC2).

Validation & Cutover

• Conduct UAT and performance benchmarking to validate improvements.
• Manage cutover activities including data syncs and DNS switchovers with minimal downtime.
• Provide post-migration “Hypercare” support for 30 days to fine-tune performance.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in large-scale data centre migrations.
• Proven expertise in AWS landing zones and Control Tower.
• Mandatory certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues (DNS latency routing) under high-pressure cutover conditions.
• Advanced proficiency in AWS with working knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud Platform for exit strategies.
• Hands-on experience with migration tools such as AWS MGN DMS SCT and CloudEndure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS Fargate.
• Skilled in database migration from SQL Server/Oracle to Amazon RDS or Aurora.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Git Jenkins GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong background in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
• Willingness to work onsite in the Jakarta area.
