Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a recognised leader in cloud and digital innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

Discovery & Assessment (Assess Phase)

• Conduct detailed infrastructure discovery using AWS Application Discovery Service and Migration Evaluator.
• Map complex application dependencies and organize “Migration Waves” based on business priorities and technical readiness.
• Perform TCO and ROI analyses to provide stakeholders with clear justification for migration strategies.

Migration Execution (Mobilise & Migrate Phase)

• Design and implement secure AWS Landing Zones using Control Tower and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CDK.
• Lead large-scale server migrations with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN).
• Execute database migrations to RDS or Aurora with minimal downtime using AWS DMS and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Automate migration workflows through AWS Migration Hub Orchestrator.

Modernisation & Refactoring (Modernise Phase)

• Transform legacy applications into containerised solutions on Amazon EKS or AWS Fargate for improved scalability.
• Utilise Amazon Q Developer (AI) to analyse legacy code and accelerate refactoring of or Python applications into microservices.
• Replace outdated file systems with modern storage solutions such as Amazon FSx or S3 Data Lakes.

Governance & FinOps

• Apply “Security by Design” principles using IAM Identity Centre AWS GuardDuty and Security Hub.
• Optimise post-migration costs through rightsizing and AWS Compute Optimiser recommendations.
• Ensure all workloads comply with international standards including SOC2 GDPR and HIPAA.

Job Requirements:

• Possession of AWS Certified Migration & Modernisation (Speciality) is highly preferred alongside the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional credential.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to AWS migration projects.
• Willingness to work onsite in the Jakarta area.
