We have a vacancy for a sessional Receptionist / Administrator to assist us in our Wellingborough hub. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact within the service to greet our visitors promptly in a friendly and courteous manner on an ad hoc basis. Duties for the post include dealing with initial queries notifying staff their client has arrived for an appointment coordinating appointments signposting to support available within the service and the community record feedback from clients and various admin-type duties. Lots of training and support will be provided so you become confident in the role.
Hourly Rate: 14.41 per hour
Contracted Hours: Ad Hoc / 0 per week
Contract Type: Sessional
* Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks:
- As first point of contact ensure service users and other visitors receive a friendly and efficient service and that all visits are dealt with promptly and courteously.
- Contribute to the improvement and upkeep of client areas ensuring that the reception area is welcoming and tidy.
- Contribute to maintaining the client information displayed in the reception area is tidy current and relevant.
- Encourage service user feedback and the use of the suggestion box to all clients accessing the service.
- Providing basic advice and information on the service offer.
- Contribute to managing an effective appointment system liaising with keyworkers.
- Checking appointments on the CGL information system and book future appointment for service users
- Take messages for staff and update case management contacts where appropriate
- Support the team in managing/booking appointments via the electronic diary system
- Maintain accurate records of all contacts on our case management systems
About You:
Education Knowledge and Experience:
- Ability to work with professional boundaries
- Confidence to deal with enquiries on the phone and in person
- Good verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to work on own initiative prioritising accordingly.
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
