Job Summary

Zonal Sales Manager (10-18 Yrs Exp) - Mumbai India

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Zonal Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in the Maharashtra region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sales strategies channel management and driving business growth within the Indian market. This is a full-time permanent position based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive zonal sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee and optimize performance across General Trade Modern Trade and Channel Sales.
  • Effectively manage distribution networks to ensure product availability and market penetration.
  • Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients distributors and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports forecasts and performance reviews to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and sales procedures.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales management with a proven track record of success.
  • Maximum of 18 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in General Trade Modern Trade Channel Sales and Distribution Handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian market dynamics particularly in Maharashtra.
  • Excellent analytical strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
