We are seeking an AEM Headless API Developer to build and maintain headless APIs on Adobe Experience Manager. You will work on a global AEM platform designing and implementing RESTful APIs that power our digital experiences. This role focuses on API development component migration to headless and supporting a headless architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain headless REST APIs using AEM and the Sling framework Migrate existing AEM components to headless APIs using Sling Models and the Exporter framework Implement Sling servlets and Sling Models to expose content as JSON
Build reusable scalable API endpoints that support multiple client applications Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and data structures
Optimize API performance including caching strategies and query optimization Implement authentication authorization and security for API endpoints
Write unit and integration tests for Sling Models servlets and API endpoints
Document API specifications and integration guidelines
Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in production environments
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
