Job Summary

Essential
- Strong proficiency in SQL with an in-depth understanding of advanced SQL concepts and techniques
- Experience working with large scale multi-terabyte data warehouses
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing principles dimensional modelling and star schema design
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake including their architecture features and best practices
- Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques (ELT ETL)
- Expert level PowerBI experience
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python Powershell) for data processing and automation
- Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modelling
Preferred
- Experience of working with risk systems within a financial institution
- Experience of using Control-M or similar orchestration tools
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
