Job Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that meet unique business requirements. The role includes coding and enhancing various components within systems or applications ensuring they perform efficiently and scale effectively. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adapting to agile methodologies are integral parts of the daily workflow enabling continuous improvement and timely delivery of high-quality software products. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices in software development to improve team productivity and product quality.- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance overall team capabilities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.- Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.- Ability to write clean maintainable and efficient code.- Familiarity with debugging testing and performance tuning of Java applications.- Understanding of version control systems and collaborative development workflows. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java Standard Edition.- This position is based at our Gurugram office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
