Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RN UM)
Location: Pembroke Center Pembroke NC
Contract Duration: 11 weeks
Work Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (40 hours guaranteed)
Meal Break: 30 minutes
Pay Rate: $61/hour (W2)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled RN-Unit Manager (UM) for an 11-week contract assignment at Pembroke Center. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and oversight of clinical operations perform utilization reviews ensure medical necessity and collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with UM experience to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit and ensure compliance with clinical standards
- Conduct clinical utilization reviews to ensure appropriate patient care and medical necessity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians case managers and support staff
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to regulatory and organizational guidelines
- Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of patient care
- Mentor and guide staff to enhance team performance and patient outcomes
