Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room / Acute / LTC

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work across Emergency Room (ER) Acute Care and Long-Term Care (LTC) settings within a small critical access hospital. This role requires flexibility strong clinical judgment and the ability to provide comprehensive patient care across multiple service areas.
Assignment Details- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 6 x 12-hour shifts per two-week period (72 hours)
- Rotation: Every 3rd weekend off
- Hours: Not guaranteed
- Holiday Coverage: Required
- Small critical access hospital with no separate units
- Nurses provide care across ER acute and LTC settings
- Dynamic and flexible role requiring cross-functional support
- Provide patient care in the Emergency Room Acute Care and LTC settings
- Perform triage assessment and emergency interventions as needed
- Administer medications and complete treatments/procedures for acute and LTC patients
- Float between departments based on patient volume and needs
- Deliver backup support to other units when ER volume is low
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
- Candidates without an active license must apply upon offer acceptance
- Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
- Must be able to arrive prior to assignment start date to complete pre-employment health screening
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Must be comfortable working across multiple care settings
- This is not a latex-free facility
