What will you do on your journey with Web Travel Group
The Technical Account Manager is responsible for driving end-to-end API onboarding for new API clients and optimizing existing connections.
To work directly with C-level tech and product owners to deliver successful partnerships from conceptual design to operational delivery and beyond.
The role requires to work cross functionally with sales product technology pricing and optimization and playing a pivotal role in achieving financial targets for the region.
In this role you will:
- Support the LATAM sales team with new API integrations by reviewing partners technology and consulting on best practices to ensure efficiency
- Develop strong relationships with technical counterparts at clients across the region and act as the central tech point of contact.
- Create a scalable process for efficiently onboarding new partners to the API
- Perform quality assurance checks on end-to-end integrations prior to launch
- Investigate diagnose and solve API issues or inquiries via research and testing
- Manage and optimize client inventory from a technical standpoint
- Maintains knowledge and compliance with API features and functionality to be the technical expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Monitor overall client performance to ensure optimal account configuration and API behaviour
- Support the resolution of incidents with suppliers or clients to apply effective solutions while preserving a high service level

- Ability to deliver high-quality workable solutions for technical issues
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously prioritize workload effectively and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
- Client-facing experience working with senior-level technical counterparts
- Familiarity with web-based and mobile-based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume transactional websites
- Knowledge of or experience with web services specifically XML and JSON-based APIs
- Having working experience with databases like MySQL and Athena - AWS
- Experience with Postman or similar API software
- Experience in e-commerce and/or travel industry a plus
- Fluency in Spanish and English is a necessity; Portuguese is an advantage
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or similar required
