Job Summary

Role Overview: The Innovation Advisor / Account Manager will be responsible for the technical delivery and account management of Mind the Bridges innovation programs in South Korea. This role requires a deep understanding of Hard Tech and Deep Tech sectorssuch as AI Robotics and Maritime technologiesto provide high-level advisory services to corporate and government clients. You will act as a primary technical consultant translating complex technological solutions into business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Advisory: Provide expert-level guidance on deep tech trends (AI Robotics Energy) to help corporate clients identify and evaluate high-potential startups for PoC (Proof of Concept) programs.
  • Account Management: Manage relationships with key institutional and corporate accounts ensuring the successful delivery of program milestones and high client satisfaction.
  • Startup Sourcing & Evaluation: Lead the scouting and technical due diligence of deep tech startups globally that align with the specific needs of the Korean market.
  • Program Execution: Oversee the day-to-day operations of acceleration and market expansion programs ensuring that technical deliverables meet the high standards expected by government agencies like KISED or Korea Innovation Foundation(INNOPOLIS). This includes close coordination with internal team members continuous monitoring of operational details and prompt problem-solving to keep programs on track.
  • Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate with global offices to bridge the gap between Korean clients and international tech ecosystems maintaining detail-oriented communication across internal teams and partners.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  • Deep Technological Background: A degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Computer Science) or a related technical field is highly preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in a deep tech sector (e.g. AI Robotics Maritime or Semiconductors).
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Previous experience as a founder or an early employee in a tech startup is highly appreciated; a scrappy problem-solving attitude is essential.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in both Korean and English to effectively communicate with local clients and global team members.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.

Operational Context:

Based in our Seoul office with some travel expected you will be part of a team shifting focus from traditional acceleration toward high-value demand-driven PoC projects and advisory services. This role is critical for reinforcing Mind the Bridges brand as a leader in technical innovation within the Korean ecosystem.
