Whats the role

As Head of Portfolio Delivery youll sit at the centre of Westpacs most critical transformation agenda turning ambition into disciplined execution at scale. Youll be doing this in the context of a multiyear deeply interconnected transformation spanning technology risk operating model and culture -one of the largest and most complex change agendas underway in global banking today.

Reporting to the General Manager Strategy Governance and Business Controls youll lead the enterprise portfolio that spans UNITE and the CTO Division bringing clarity pace and confidence to how change gets delivered.

Fundamentally you will provide program management and portfolio delivery leadership. Youll set the direction for portfolio delivery shaping the operating rhythm standards and governance that enable leaders to make smart timely decisions. From Boardlevel reporting to handson intervention youll ensure programs are prioritised funded and sequenced to deliver value without compromising risk control or customer outcomes.

This is a role for a deeply experienced portfolio delivery leader who thrives in complexity. Youll balance strategic intent with delivery reality anticipate risks before they surface and create transparency where it matters most. Youll lead a highperforming Portfolio Delivery team partner closely with senior executives across Technology Finance Risk and Transformation and embed a delivery culture that is accountable and outcomeled.

Significant experience leading large complex enterprise-wide technology or data transformation in a highly regulated environment
Deep mastery of portfolio program and investment governance with a strong lens on value risk and execution discipline
Executivelevel influence with the confidence to challenge priorities intervene decisively and align senior stakeholders
A track record of leading highperforming Divisional Portfolio Management Officeteams through ambiguity and change
Strategic judgement paired with delivery instinct. Your experience has taught you when to zoom out and when to step in
