Senior Property Portfolio Management Lead

We have an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Property team leading the management of a diverse property portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.

Summary

This role plays a key part in shaping how property strategy supports business outcomes. Youll lead the management of a large and complex portfolio spanning commercial industrial and residential assets ensuring optimal utilisation cost efficiency and value creation.

Working closely with business stakeholders youll drive strategic initiatives across leasing acquisitions divestments and portfolio optimisation bringing together commercial insight governance and delivery excellence.

Youll also lead and develop a team ensuring alignment to business priorities while embedding consistent high-quality property practices across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management of a diverse property portfolio optimising leasehold and freehold assets
• Drive initiatives to improve utilisation reduce occupancy costs and unlock portfolio value
• Oversee leasing acquisitions and divestments ensuring strong commercial outcomes
• Partner with business units to understand property needs and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Manage and develop a team of Portfolio Managers and Lease Coordinator
• Ensure effective governance risk management and compliance across property activities
• Lead budgeting forecasting and financial reporting for the portfolio
• Maintain accurate property data and reporting to support decision-making
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal Procurement and Finance to deliver outcomes

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience (57 years) managing corporate property portfolios in complex environments
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and deliver value-driven outcomes
• Experience across leasing acquisitions divestments and property strategy
• Ability to translate business needs into practical property solutions
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
• Experience leading teams and driving performance in a collaborative environment
• Solid understanding of lease management systems and lease accounting principles
• Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills
