Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior PMP Project Manager with strong experience supporting state or federal government agencies. This role requires managing large-scale enterprise data initiatives and working in a hybrid environment in Austin TX.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading a high-visibility analytics and reporting platform enhancement project. The Project Manager will oversee vendor software development teams coordinate with in-house technical teams and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery within scope schedule and budget.
This position requires onsite presence three days per week (Tuesdays Wednesdays and Fridays). The onsite requirement may increase in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Plan manage and document all aspects of assigned enterprise-level projects
Manage project scope schedule budget and risk
Lead vendor software development teams and coordinate with internal technical teams
Collaborate with program and business stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
Support enhancements to enterprise analytics and reporting platforms
Ensure compliance with established project management methodologies and frameworks
Requirements
Required Qualifications
10 years of Project Management experience
10 years managing enterprise-scale data management projects
8 years managing Agile projects within state or federal government agencies (or similar environments)
5 years of experience with project management tools such as Jira Micro Focus Project Management or similar systems
Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (must be listed on resume; proof may be required)
Minimum 1 year holding PMP certification
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of experience creating Texas Project Delivery Framework deliverables and managing projects using this framework
Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) PMI-ACP or other related Agile credentials
