Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Quote and support sales contracts
- Convert Purchase Requisitions to purchase orders.
- Utilize the Business Unit ERP to manage standard inventory items.
- Manage supply chain to schedule material to meet stated inventory objectives.
- Review and process return purchase orders.
- Enter credits and debits upon request.
- Have an understanding of the supply base including contact and general costing information lead time and capabilities.
- Establish supplier relationships with both inside and outside sales contacts.
- Understand of corporate objectives including ROCE sales/ operations/ purchasing.
- A complete understanding of the Purchasing System and the process for contracts and scheduling agreements.
- Purchase for Contractual Agreements and work with regions to evaluate risk and review alternatives.
- General understanding of internal processing equipment.
- Understand the global supply base.
- Effectively communicate with both internal customers and the supply base

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures- normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or other closely related fields.
- Work requires a general understanding of company policies and procedures and the individual to maintain accurate records and files.
- Work requires a basic understanding of supplier and general mill capabilities. This can be acquired in 6-12 months through training and experience.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and work on day-to-day basis with purchasing mill contacts and internal customers.
Preferred Requirements:
- 1-2 years purchasing experience
- Prior experience Microsoft Dynamic 365 (D365)
Responsabilités clés:

- Gérer la chaîne dapprovisionnement afin de planifier les stocks des matériaux en fonction dobjectifs définis.
- Examiner et traiter les commandes retournées.
- Saisir les crédits et les débits sur demande.
- Comprendre les rouages du réseau dapprovisionnement dont les personnes-ressources les renseignements généraux sur les coûts les délais et les capacités.
- Établir des relations avec les fournisseurs notamment avec les personnes-ressources dans les services des ventes internes et externes.
- Comprendre les objectifs de lentreprise notamment en ce qui concerne le RCE les ventes lexploitation et les achats.
- Avoir une compréhension claire du système dachat et du processus doctroi de contrats et de détermination des échéanciers.
- Effectuer des achats dans le cadre dententes contractuelles et travailler avec le personnel dautres régions pour évaluer les risques et explorer les solutions de rechange.
- Avoir une compréhension générale de léquipement de traitement interne.
- Comprendre le réseau dapprovisionnement mondial.
- Communiquer efficacement avec la clientèle interne et le réseau dapprovisionnement.
- Posséder les qualités et compétences exigées des employés de TKMNA.

- Connaissance des procédures dachat et dautres notions généralement acquises dans le cadre dun programme de baccalauréat dans le domaine de la gestion des chaînes dapprovisionnement ou dans un autre domaine connexe.
- Compréhension générale des politiques et procédures de lentreprise et capacité de conserver des dossiers bien classés.
- Compréhension minimale des capacités générales des fournisseurs et fabricants. Ces compétences peuvent être acquises en six à douze mois par la formation et lexpérience.
- Compétences interpersonnelles requises pour communiquer efficacement et travailler quotidiennement avec les personnes-ressources chez les fabricants et les clients internes.

- Un à deux ans dexpérience dans le domaine des achats.
