About the role.

As our Shopper Marketing Manager ANZ you will champion McCains shopper experience at the point of purchase ensuring our brand shows up powerfully consistently and creatively across all retail environments. Your mission is to translate McCains Masterbrand narrative into compelling insightdriven shopper programs that connect emotionally drive conversion and strengthen retailer partnerships.

Sitting within the Marketing function and reporting to the Head of Communication & Engagement you will thrive in a fastpaced environment as the ultimate shopper advocatecombining creativity commercial acumen and strong crossfunctional collaboration to deliver highimpact results.

What youll be doing.

  • Develop and execute bestinclass insightled shopper marketing strategies that elevate McCains brand presence in retail.
  • Champion consistent brand storytelling across all shopper touchpoints.
  • Lead annual and monthly shopper marketing planning across major retailers and channels.
  • Deliver omnichannel shopper programs that integrate media digital retail activation and datadriven decision making.
  • Build strong partnerships across internal teams (Brand Sales Insights Category) and external partners (agencies retailers).
  • Manage the ANZ shopper marketing budget ensuring strategic allocation and strong ROI.
  • Track and evaluate campaign performance identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Lead and inspire a small team fostering creativity accountability and a strong resultsdriven culture.

What youll need to be successful.

  • Degree in Marketing Business or a related field with significant experience in FMCG marketing shopper marketing or trade activation.
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian retail landscape.
  • Agency -side expertise with experience in integrated campaign planning & management digital communication and media strategy.
  • Proven commercial acumen and comfort managing complex budgets.
  • Strong creative judgement and the ability to bring compelling brand stories to life.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to influence crossfunctional teams.

About the team.

Youll be part of McCains broader Marketing organisation working closely with Communications Brand Sales Insights Category Finance and Procurement. You will also collaborate with agency partners and major retail customers to deliver bestinclass insightdriven activations. Youll play a key role in strengthening integration between brand activity and instore execution ensuring a seamless consumer journey from awareness to purchase.
