Job Description: Regional Manager (BNPL In-Store Model) Position: Regional Manager (In-Store Buy-Now-Pay-Later Operations) Department: Operations / Retail Distribution Location: Lagos Reports To: Line Manager. Role Overview The Regional Manager (RM) for BNPL In-Store Model is responsible for leading managing and expanding the companys in-store BNPL operations within the assigned region. The RM oversees shop onboarding promoter performance dealer relationships sales growth product visibility repayment compliance and operational excellence across all partner stores. The role requires strong leadership field supervision problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset to ensure consistent growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Maintain strong relationships with store owners supervisors partners and supervise all in-store sales promoters within the assigned region.
- Ensure stores/promoters meet company standards for space allocation branding and engagement and resolve dealer complaints and escalate critical issues promptly.
- Ensure promoters adhere to daily check-in/check-out procedures reporting standards and code of conduct.
- Implement sales coaching performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions where necessary.
- Monitor product sell-through inventory levels and turnover rate.
- Track sales performance using dashboards and submit performance reports timely.
- Monitor repayment performance and overdue trends for all in-store sales.
- Ensure promoters follow proper KYC documentation and customer screening guidelines.
- Submit daily/weekly reports including sales foot traffic promoter activity revenue performance and challenges.
- Ensure accurate documentation of in-store customer information and device tracking.
- Provide insights on market opportunities competitor presence and consumer behavior.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Business Management Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years in retail operations BNPL telecom FMCG or financial services.
- Proven experience in managing field teams or promoters.
- Strong understanding of retail sales and credit processes.
Skills & Competencies - Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Sales-driven target-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to analyze data and interpret performance metrics.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Excel CRM tools and digital reporting systems.
