Job Summary
A highly respected and academically ambitious independent school in Bedfordshire is seeking an exceptional Science Teacher to join its successful and well-established department from April.

The Role
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 & KS4 with strong KS5 provision available depending on subject specialism (Biology Chemistry or Physics). You will be responsible for delivering engaging challenging and well-structured lessons that promote curiosity analytical thinking and a deep understanding of scientific principles.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with an ambitious curriculum
Monitoring student progress and using data effectively to raise attainment
Providing detailed and constructive feedback to support academic development
Contributing to curriculum innovation and departmental improvement
Supporting students in preparation for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Participating in enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs competitions and trips

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in Science with the ability to teach to KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Experience preparing students for public examinations
