The Role
- As a Nursery Teacher you will lead a class of around 30 pupils with a high proportion of EAL learners
- Deliver engaging play-based learning aligned to the EYFS framework
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and SEN staff to support pupil progress
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers within the local Brent community
School Context
- Part of a successful Catholic federation with strong links between Infant and Junior phases
- Approximately 420 pupils across the federation with a diverse intake
- Around 2025% of pupils identified with SEN including a small number with EHCPs
- Strong Early Years outcomes with most pupils achieving a Good Level of Development
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this Nursery Teacher position
- Proven experience or strong placement experience within EYFS
- Secure understanding of phonics early language development and child-led learning
- A committed and reflective Nursery Teacher with high expectations for all pupils
- Ability to contribute to the wider school community within Brent
