As a Front Office Engineer you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust low-latency systems crucial for pricing quoting and hedging a diverse range of financial instruments such as USTs Swaps and MBS. You will also develop innovative platforms that enable efficient risk and P&L management for our trading desks. A key aspect of your role will involve leveragingAI-driven analyticsfor sophisticated data analysis and to inform predictive pricing strategies.
Responsibilities
Technical Skills
- 3 years of work experience.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Java C/C++).
- Experience in software development including a clear understanding of data structures algorithms software design and core programming concepts.
- Working knowledge of UNIX.
- Familiarity with Git awareness of CI/CD and other modern SDLC practice
Relevant Skills/Qualifications
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills are a must given that the role will involve interacting with traders & salespeople.
- Ability to work well in a team setting often with developers in other regions.
- Strong analytical skills ability to quickly identify scope and impact of issues.
- Adaptability to different technologies to suit the problem including some proprietary technologies.
- Energetic self-directed and self-motivated.
