As a Manager Wallet Operations you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end payment processes. This role will focus on settlement wallet operations chargebacks and disputes and exception reporting ensuring seamless financial transactions regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with deep knowledge of payment systems and a proactive approach to risk management.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Wallet Operations Support: Assist with Digital Wallet tasks including basic funding and withdrawal checks simple reconciliations and monitoring user issues.
  • Escalation Assistance: Support the team by gathering information and helping resolve escalated cases under supervision.
  • Chargebacks & Disputes Support: Help process chargebacks and disputes by preparing documentation and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Partner Support: Provide operational assistance to Western Unions clients and vendors to ensure smooth daytoday coordination.
  • Exception Reporting Support: Help track and update exception reports flagging any unusual items for review by senior team members.
  • Operations Analysis: Analyze problem root causes using data and documenting RCAs
  • Compliance & Risk Support: Assist in following internal controls and compliance requirements by completing routine checks and documentation.
  • Process Documentation: Support process improvement efforts by helping document workflows and suggesting simple enhancements.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work with Finance Product Engineering and Customer Support teams on basic operational queries and updates.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics or any related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience in payment operations financial services or related internship/academic exposure.
  • Basic understanding of digital wallets payment flows card networks or chargeback concepts (training will be provided).
  • Familiarity with reconciliation or exception handling is a plus.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and willing to learn payment platforms ERP systems and reporting tools.
  • Proactive detailoriented and eager to learn in a fastpaced operations environment.
