Job Description

As People Business Partner CEE you will be responsible for deploying and embedding the People strategy across the Central & Eastern Europe organization within Philips International Region. You will act as a strategic partner to the business proactively supporting functional transformation by strengthening organizational capabilities leadership effectiveness and a highperformance culture.

In this role you will closely support the regional Management Team and provide People partnership for an organization of approximately 2000 employees across the CEE zone.

Your role:

  • Collaborates with senior management to develop and implement a People Strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy and objectives ensuring it supports business growth organizational capability leadership strength and performance management.

  • Utilizes diagnostic skills and business acumen to identify key people or workforce related needs and opportunities within the business area articulating and delivering individual team and workforce value propositions to senior management in alignment with business goals.

  • Partners with and consults business leaders to understand their needs providing strategic advice and solutions that influence business decisions by offering insights and recommendations to drive business performance and value.

  • Coordinates capability development initiatives to ensure the business has the necessary skills and competencies to meet its objectives leading strategic workforce planning efforts including hiring succession planning and development to maintain a robust talent pipeline.

  • Drives the people elements of transformation and change initiatives within the business area supporting the business in managing change effectively to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.

  • Collaborates with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to address the specific needs of the business area acting as a steward of the People Function Operating Model to ensure its services and solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.

  • Builds strong collaborative relationships with business leaders leadership teams and stakeholders serving as a trusted advisor and partner by providing thoughtful and relevant People Function related services and solutions based on a deep understanding of the market and the business.

  • Supports the development and implementation of performance management that drives high performance and accountability offering guidance and support to business leaders on performance management processes including goal setting feedback and development planning.

  • Ensures policies and practices comply with local laws and regulations identifying and mitigating risks to ensure the business operates within legal and ethical boundaries.

  • Operates independently and contributes to the development of objectives and principles for a Business Region Zone or Function fostering creative and effective approaches to goal attainment.

  • Provides guidance mentorship and support to team members nurtures their professional development and facilitates collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team.

  • People Business Partner in the Zone: plays a pivotal role in enabling business transformation and maintaining the license to operate both internally and externally. They are the first point of contact for people related strategic changes such as transformations local M&A activities compliance legal and risk matters ensuring seamless execution across the Zone. Additionally they foster a unified People Function community represent the People function in compliance and incident committees and help position the organization as an Employer of Choice to attract top talent.

Youre the right fit if you have:

  • Passion of building team for win & developing people/culture.

  • Possess over 8 years of experience as a People Business Partner preferably within a commercial organization across various geographies.

  • Expertise in business partnering and stakeholder management within agile environments.

  • Proven experience in leading change and organizational transformation.

  • Proficiency in organizational design workforce planning and talent development.

  • Demonstrated track record in leadership/team coaching and organizational development.

  • Strong drive proactive and adaptable mindset with resilience and stay focused in ambiguity.

  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
