Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for planning andpreparation ofannual budget and capital expense requests.
Prepare weekly work schedules for all stewarding personnel.
Establish and conduct training programs for stewarding personnel.
Encouragescross training.
Preparesemployeefor promotion.
Maintainrecordsrequiredfor the efficient operation of the department.
Maintain approved labor costs.
Counselguideand instruct personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
Mustbe willing to work long hours.
Must be able to work closely with all phases of management.
Must have an understanding of pest elimination.
Train develop and lead stewarding staff using Get Guide and Root for Me concepts.
Interviews and selects employees
Conducts Performance Reviews and makes or recommends wage increase andpromotions.
Handles employees complaints or grievances
Recommends disciplinary action or disciplines employees
Monitors department legal compliance with federal state and gaming laws Worka flexible schedule including weekends evening and holidays.

Qualifications:
Preferred three years of steward of kitchen or steward or related janitorial experience with one year in multi-unit and one year in and two years in supervision a working knowledge of sanitation requirements.
Able and willing to read write speak and understand English.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Working knowledge of sanitation management.
Knowledge of P & L statements and budget.
Must be computer literate.
