Position Summary:
TheDigital Marketing Specialist leads the planning execution optimization andmeasurement of all digital marketing initiatives across the organization. Thisrole manages marketing automation website performance SEO/SEM analytics andcampaign tracking to drive engagement visibility and lead generation. Workingclosely with the Content & Creative Specialist and Marketing EngagementCoordinator the Digital Content Specialist ensures all digitaltouchpointsemail social web and paidare data-informed efficient andaligned with business objectives.
Work location:
Calgary Alberta
This position is required to be in office at least one day perweek and must have the flexibilityto occasionally work outside regular hours to support events or campaignlaunches.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the DigitalMarketing Specialist
DigitalStrategy & Paid Advertising - enhancing the organizations online presenceand reach through targeted digital initiatives
Digital Campaigns & Marketing Automation - Overseethe planning setup optimization and tracking of digital marketing campaignsacross platforms
WebsiteManagement & SEO - Maintain the performance and integrity of companywebsites and portals.
Collaboration& Cross-Team Support - Work as a digital subject matter expert across themarketing functions
Analytics& Reporting - Provide actionable and timely insights through comprehensivereporting on digital performance.
Education:
Degree ordiploma in Marketing Digital Marketing Communications Business or relatedfield
Commitment tocontinuous professional development in digital marketing analytics andmarketing technology
Experience:
Knowledge:
Strongunderstanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) conversion metrics anddigital engagement measurement
Hands-onexperience with marketing automation email campaigns segmentation and leadnurturing workflows
Experiencewith campaign tracking methodologies (UTMs conversion tracking analyticstools)
Workingknowledge of SEO best practices keyword optimization and search visibilitystrategies
Experiencesupporting paid digital and social campaigns including performance monitoringand optimization recommendations
Exceptionalreporting and dashboard-building skills with the ability to translate datainto actionable insights
Knowledgeof CRM systems and marketing technology platforms (Salesforce experienceconsidered a strong asset)
Experiencewith content management systems
Understandingof website best practices including user experience (UX) accessibilityperformance and quality assurance
Experienceidentifying digital optimization opportunities across email web paid andsocial channels
Thefollowing are considered assets:
oExperiencedeveloping full-funnel digital marketing strategies
oExperiencewith heatmapping A/B testing or UX optimization tools
oBasicknowledge of HTML/CSS
