Job Summary
YOUR MISSION:
Join us in reimagining customer experience with Agentic AI. As Senior Accountant (f/m/d) at Parloa your mission is to build scalable efficient and compliant accounting processes that support our rapid global growth from our Berlin or Munich this high-impact role youll lead initiatives across technical accounting reporting and systems to ensure we meet the highest standards. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams you will help transform our finance operations into a world-class AI-driven function.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Design and implement scalable accounting policies and internal controls in line with IFRS & HGB
- Build systems and reports to streamline the month-end close process
- Prepare review and approve journal entries reconciliations and schedules
- Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests
- Analyze monthly variances and explain business drivers
- Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams to solve process issues and drive improvements
- Partner with the Finance Leadership on ad hoc projects and general corporate accounting matters

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Degree in Accounting or a similar field
- 5 years of accounting experience ideally in tech or public/private accounting
- Deep knowledge of HGB; IFRS/US GAAP is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of building efficient scalable processes
- Detail-oriented independent and proactive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with NetSuite is a plus
- Experience with inter-company transactions consolidation and foreign currency translation
- Fluent (C1) in German and English
