Hours- 33per week (8:30am-3:30pm Monday TuesdayWednesdayand Friday and 8:30am-4:00pm on Thursday) 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Salary- Grade 4 SCP 5- 25583.00 (Full Time Equivalent)- Actual Salary-19182.66

Haslington PrimaryAcademy and Nursery are looking for an outstandingenthusiasticand hard-working Grade 4 Teaching Assistant to join our team.

This role is to supportinKey Stage 2 in the first instance;supportingboth children in class and leading interventions as directed by the SENCO/class teacher.

The successful candidate must: -

• Havepreviousexperience of working with primary aged children with special educational needs.

• Have a minimumLevel 2Early Years qualification inor be willing to work towards this qualification.

• Be highly motivated and committed to working as part of a team.

• Have excellent interpersonal skills.

• Have the ability toact on their own initiative.

• Be committed to the vision and values of our school.

• Have a child-centred approach to their work.

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skill at all levels (with childrenstaffand parents/carers).

• Gave a good sense of humour and a hardworking ethos.

• Be able to present as a positive role model.

• Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children andmaintainingconfidentiality at all times.

• Have the ability towork independently but also as part of a team.
