We are looking for an experienced senior leader to join Suffolk County Councils Adult Social Care Service as a Programme and Business Relationship Manager based at Endeavour House in Ipswich. This is a unique opportunity to shape change influence strategic direction and help drive improvements that will make a real difference to the lives of adults across Suffolk.

Your role and responsibilities

In this pivotal role you will help drive Suffolk County Councils ambitious People at the Heart of Care transformation programme - an initiative focused on enabling individuals with complex needs to live independently and thrive within their communities. You will champion the use of innovative digital solutions technology-enabled care and co-designed service models that empower people their supporters and our frontline teams.

Your immediate priority will be to provide essential programme management leadership to the Independent Lives transformation programme. This high-profile complex programme is delivered in partnership with system-wide stakeholders to transform Learning Disability and Autism and Mental Health services promoting independence progression and recovery.

As Programme and Business Relationship Manager you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership as a dynamic and experienced change leader helping to drive forward transformation that makes a real difference within Adult Social Care.
  • Work as part of the Adult Social Care Transformation Delivery Team and Programme Management Office (PMO) leading and managing programmes and projects of varying scope scale and complexity.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams partners and stakeholders to shape delivery overcome challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes for Suffolk residents.

You will need

  • Previous experience of working at a senior management level.

  • A recognised programme or project management qualification.
  • A commitment to the councils WE ASPIRE values with resilience and adaptability in a fastpaced environment.
