Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for supporting the education sector

We are looking for a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our team starting in April after the Easter Holidays.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance Admin and Premises team working closely with colleagues to ensure our accounts are seamless our suppliers are paid on time and our resources are effectively managed to benefit our children.

Working alongside the Business Manager you will be responsible for liaising and negotiating with suppliers placing orders managing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. You will handle banking processes monthly reconciliations petty cash credit card transactions and support both month end and year end procedures. You will be the liaison with the Breakfast Club team and our PTA Treasurer as well as the whole staff team to ensure the school is well resourced. This is a busy role which requires accuracy attention to detail initiative and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate must have previous financial experience. Experience in a school setting would be an advantage. They should have good IT skills (Google Microsoft Word & Excel) although full training to use our Financial Management System (Arbor) will be provided.

They should be a good communicator enjoy working as part of a team and being part of a wider and Admin roles in a school are like no other!The role is busy and often deadline driven but all with the joy of being part of a school community of children staff and families.
