About the Role-
We are looking for a skilled and performance-driven Laravel Developer with strong experience in API integrations and exposure to AI/LLM platforms such as Claude (Anthropic) OpenAI or similar tools.
In this role you will be responsible for integrating AI capabilities into an existing Laravel-based application building scalable backend systems and ensuring secure high-performance API architecture. You will collaborate closely with frontend product and operations teams to deliver intelligent AI-enabled features at scale.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop and maintain backend applications using the Laravel framework
Design develop and maintain RESTful APIs
Integrate third-party APIs including AI/LLM platforms (Claude AI OpenAI etc.)
Implement secure API authentication mechanisms (Bearer Tokens OAuth JWT)
Optimize database queries caching strategies and overall application performance
Work with queues background jobs and asynchronous processing
Ensure scalability and reliability of backend systems
Collaborate with frontend and product teams for seamless feature delivery
Maintain clean scalable and well-documented code
Requirements-
5 years of experience in PHP and Laravel
Strong hands-on experience with REST API integration
Experience integrating third-party APIs
Basic understanding of AI/LLM APIs (Claude OpenAI etc.)
Strong knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
Familiarity with Git version control
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good to Have-
Experience with Redis queues and caching mechanisms
Knowledge of prompt engineering fundamentals
Experience building AI-powered features (chatbots summarization automation workflows)
Understanding of cloud deployments (AWS DigitalOcean etc.)
