Job Summary
We are looking for a Lexbot Developer with strong experience in building conversational bots using Amazon Lex and integrating them with Amazon Connect. The role involves developing Lex bots as code deploying through AWS Lambda and building backend integrations using JavaScript and TypeScript.
You will work on intelligent chatbot/voicebot solutions that interact with customers via web and contact center channels ensuring seamless automation and excellent user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop conversational bots using Amazon Lex (chatbot and voicebot).
Implement Lex bots as code and manage deployments via Lambda.
Integrate Lex with Amazon Connect for contact center automation.
Build and consume REST APIs for backend integrations.
Develop Lambda functions using JavaScript and TypeScript.
Design intents utterances slots and conversation flows.
Handle bot testing debugging and performance tuning.
Work closely with backend and cloud teams for API and data integration.
Monitor bot performance and logs using observability tools.
Mandatory Skills
Hands-on experience with Amazon Lex (Lexbot development).
Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience integrating Lex with Amazon Connect.
Understanding of chatbot architecture NLP concepts intents and slots.
Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
Nice to Have
AWS cloud services knowledge.
Java and Spring Boot for backend services.
Kafka for event streaming.
MongoDB for data storage.
Monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
Preferred Experience
3 years in chatbot / conversational AI development.
Experience in contact center automation projects.
Exposure to cloud-native serverless architectures.
