Purpose Statement
Were looking for a Mid-Level Product QA Engineer who thinks beyond UI testing and understands how complex systems behave. This role requires someone who can execute thorough test plans identify risks across integrations and data flows and contribute to improving automation and release confidence. At CredPal where we build distributed financial systems across credit wallets cards and payments accuracy resilience and reliability are critical. The ideal candidate approaches quality with strong ownership and a system-level mindset.
Responsibilities
Design and execute test cases across multiple product lines
Validate REST APIs webhooks and asynchronous flows
Write SQL queries to verify backend data integrity
Test end-to-end flows across distributed services
Validate business logic (wallets lending reporting calculations)
Contribute to automated test suites and CI/CD integration
Identify edge cases risk areas and ambiguous requirements early
Work closely with Engineering Product Operations and Support to ensure we ship stable release-ready systems.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
35 years of QA experience
Strong API testing experience
Solid SQL skills (youre comfortable querying production-like data)
Experience with automation tools (Playwright Cypress Selenium REST Assured etc.)
Familiarity with distributed systems and integration testing
Experience working in Agile environments
Bonus: Experience in fintech transactional systems wallets lending or event-driven architectures.

Required Skills:
Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts. Perform functional regression integration and API testing. Support and maintain automated test scripts. Identify document and track defects through resolution. Work closely with Product Managers and Developers during sprint cycles. Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA input early in development. Contribute to improving QA processes and standards.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.35 years of experience in Software/Product with manual and automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright is a plus).Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman or similar).Good understanding of Agile/Scrum knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is an analytical skills and attention to communication and teamwork skills.
