As a Security Officer - Access Control in Walworth WI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location where you will focus on access control helping manage entry points visitor check-in and badge verification. You will conduct routine rounds remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents document activity using computer and/or tablet tools and provide clear courteous communication to employees and guests. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors at a food and beverage production and distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Operate access control by checking identification confirming authorization for entry issuing temporary visitor credentials and directing visitors to designated check-in areas and/or escorts per site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points gates and delivery areas for irregular activity help to deter unauthorized access and report concerns according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
• Document and communicate security-related activities including visitor logs truck and driver logs incident reports and shift pass-downs using written reports and/or electronic systems.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and local responders as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
