Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a high-acuity IR department. This role requires strong procedural skills the ability to respond to emergent cases and flexibility to participate in both scheduled procedures and on-call coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environment
Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment safely and effectively
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to changes in condition
Administer contrast per protocol and scope of practice
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
Document procedures accurately and thoroughly
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency and after-hours procedures
Required Qualifications
Current certification/licensure appropriate for IR Technologist role
Prior Interventional Radiology experience required
Strong understanding of sterile technique and procedural workflow
Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments
Willingness to participate in weeknight and weekend call
