Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic outpatient rehabilitation team. This multidisciplinary department provides a wide range of specialty therapies offering the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and conditions.
Work Environment:
- Outpatient multidisciplinary rehab setting
- Collaboration with Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology teams
- Exposure to specialty therapy programs and advanced treatment techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of functional and physical impairments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy for conditions including lymphedema and other specialized areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care strategies
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience required
- Active state OT license
- AHA BLS certification required
- Lymphedema certification required
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in outpatient rehab settings
- Exposure to specialty therapies such as:
- Certified Hand Therapy (CHT)
- Wound care
- Vestibular therapy
- Aquatics therapy
- Sports rehabilitation
- Parkinsons therapy
- MBS & FEES studies
