As a Security Officer - Auto Auntion Patrol in San Antonio TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech media and telecom location where you will complete unarmed patrols conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points assist employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service and document observations using site tools. This is a driving post so a valid drivers license is required. Our agile reliable teams act with integrity and people-first care.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a tech and media location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices common areas parking areas and the perimeter helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms surveillance systems and/or communications equipment reporting unusual conditions per post orders.
• Document patrols incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs and communicate updates to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
