DescriptionOptimal acting on behalf of its client a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company is currently seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to join its Finance Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the budgeting forecasting reporting and strategic planning processes
- Control standard costing procedures within one of the Business Units and its product portfolio
- Perform analysis based on costing valuation methods including standard cost
- Conduct expenses control and variance analysis; ensure proper postings and compliance with IFRS within the assigned perimeter
- Monitor CAPEX and follow up on invoice processing
- Prepare the Business Units monthly financial reports/statements in accordance with IFRS
- Actively participate in the daily monitoring of the Business Units performance matching and validating industrial and financial data.
- Serve as a key managerial partner for all financial aspects within the assigned perimeter
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports based on daily operational requirements
- Collaborate effectively with all related departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information flow.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance Business Administration Accounting or another related quantitative field
- Postgraduate degree (MSc MA MBA) will be considered an asset
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role preferably within well-established multinational companies in a manufacturing and/or logistics environment
- Experience in Standard Costing
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek Chart of Accounts
- Knowledge of IFRS will be considered an asset
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Excellent PC literacy; advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with SAP (FI/CO) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of costing methodologies
- Results-oriented with strong efficiency mindset
- Developed managerial and leadership skills
