What this job involves: As a Facilities Manager in Coopersburg PA at JLL you will ensure the proper operation of all aspects of a facility while establishing operating and maintaining a comprehensive Facility Management program that allows an organization to manage and oversee the Operations and Maintenance of the Building Building Systems and Equipment. This role requires you to manage facility operations for manufacturing and/or corporate campus environments while managing a team of on-site personnel and their associated performance. Youll improve safety performance by changing level of awareness and changing behaviors develop and implement energy conservation initiatives and measure client feedback throughout the year while ensuring compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and local state and federal laws that reflect JLLs commitment to operational excellence and comprehensive facility management in manufacturing and corporate environments.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Facility Operations Management:
Ensure proper operation of all aspects of facility while establishing operating and maintaining comprehensive Facility Management program
Manage facility operations for manufacturing and/or corporate campus environments with focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction
Oversee Operations and Maintenance of Building Building Systems and Equipment to maintain optimal facility performance
Coordinate cross-functional activities and ensure effective communication between all operational stakeholders
Implement operational best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and corporate facilities
Team Leadership and Performance Management:
Manage team of on-site personnel and their associated performance while ensuring high productivity and professional development
Provide leadership and guidance to facility operations staff for effective service delivery and team collaboration
Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans for continuous team improvement
Foster culture of safety accountability and operational excellence within facility management team
Support training and professional development initiatives for staff advancement and capability enhancement
Safety and Compliance Management:
Improve safety performance by changing level of awareness and changing behaviors throughout facility operations
Ensure all safety environmental and standards are strictly adhered to within managed facilities
Ensure compliance by completing all related training Action Items/Audit Responses and ensuring critical PMs are completed on time
Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and required local state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to facility operations
Maintain comprehensive documentation for regulatory compliance and audit requirements
Energy Conservation and Operational Efficiency:
Develop track and implement energy conservation as well as operational efficiency initiatives while documenting savings
Monitor facility energy consumption and identify opportunities for cost reduction and sustainability improvements
Implement operational efficiency programs to optimize facility performance and reduce operating costs
Support corporate sustainability goals through innovative energy management and conservation practices
Analyze utility data and recommend improvements for enhanced operational efficiency
Client Relationship and Service Management:
Measure and manage client feedback written and verbal throughout the year for continuous service improvement
Conduct formal and informal relationship meetings with contacts to maintain strong client partnerships
Address client concerns proactively and implement solutions that exceed service expectations
Build and maintain positive relationships with client stakeholders at all organizational levels
Demonstrate value-added service delivery through exceptional client service and relationship management
Life Cycle Asset Maintenance:
Ensure all critical equipment vendor PMs are completed as per schedule for optimal asset performance and longevity
Develop and maintain comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services
Monitor equipment performance and implement predictive maintenance strategies to prevent failures
Manage asset lifecycle planning and replacement schedules for optimal facility operations
Communication and Reporting:
Oversee all communication and reporting related to facility operations while ensuring clear stakeholder updates
Prepare comprehensive reports on facility performance safety metrics and operational achievements
Facilitate regular client meetings and presentations to demonstrate service value and performance outcomes
Maintain transparent communication channels with all stakeholders for effective relationship management
Document and communicate operational challenges and solutions for continuous improvement
Administrative and Financial Oversight:
Apply knowledge of standard business and accounting practices for effective facility operations management
Utilize Excel and data analysis capabilities to monitor performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
Experience with work order management systems for efficient maintenance coordination and documentation
Support budget development and cost management initiatives for optimal financial performance
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management required
Minimum 5 years of facility management experience within corporate environment or third-party service provider
Experience in manufacturing and/or corporate campus environments preferred
Proven track record of successful facility operations management and team leadership
Business and Technical Skills: Strong business acumen with expertise in financial planning analysis and budget management
Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices for effective facility operations management
Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data for performance monitoring and improvement initiatives
Experience with work order management systems for efficient maintenance coordination
Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal supervisory analytical organizational and presentation skills
Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional relationships effectively
Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability for complex operational challenges
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills for stakeholder management
Client Service Excellence: Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
Strong client service orientation with ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Experience managing client feedback and implementing service improvements

Technical Competencies: Understanding of building systems maintenance practices and facility operations in manufacturing environments
Knowledge of safety environmental and regulatory requirements for facility operations
