Project Overview:
CTS in collaboration with Technology & Innovation Procurement requires a senior-level procurement specialist to lead competitive IT procurements draft and manage contracts ensure trade agreement compliance and provide advisory support to project teams and executives.
CTS in collaboration with Technology & Innovation Procurement requires a senior-level procurement specialist to lead competitive IT procurements draft and manage contracts ensure trade agreement compliance and provide advisory support to project teams and executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex competitive procurements (RFP RFQ NRFP)
- Draft negotiate and manage IT contracts
- Ensure compliance with government trade agreements (CFTA NWPTA etc.)
- Advise project managers IT leadership and executive stakeholders
- Track procurement progress milestones and resolve issues
- Support enterprise IT and digital transformation initiatives
Requirements
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Procurement Business or related field
- SCMP CPPB CPPO CSPM or equivalent procurement designation
- 8 years public sector procurement experience
- 5 years complex competitive procurement experience
- 8 years contract drafting and management experience
- 8 years stakeholder advisory experience
- 7 years government trade agreement knowledge
- 7 years enterprise IT environment experience
Required Skills:
Mandatory Skills & Experience: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Procurement Business or related field SCMP CPPB CPPO CSPM or equivalent procurement designation 8 years public sector procurement experience 5 years complex competitive procurement experience 8 years contract drafting and management experience 8 years stakeholder advisory experience 7 years government trade agreement knowledge 7 years enterprise IT environment experience
