C&T Operations Specialist
Job Summary
The C&T Operations Specialist is responsible for the rigorous execution of HR operations including the management of transactions data absences and benefit plans in order to ensure data integrity and the smooth functioning of HR processes.
The incumbent plays a key role in HR data quality administrative process compliance and support for payroll and benefits activities while contributing to continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
HR Data Governance and Integrity
- Ensure daily updates of HR data in the HRIS.
- Guarantee the accuracy consistency and traceability of data.
- Perform quality checks and cross-validations.
- Produce and transmit files to benefits providers.
- Validate and correct discrepancies within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain process documentation and ensure compliant record-keeping.
Employee File Documentation Management
- Maintain employee records and organize documentation.
- Prepare various documents requested by employees (employment confirmations schedule changes etc.).
Absence Administration
- Manage all absence cases (short-term disability long-term disability leaves etc.).
- Act as the HR point of contact for employees on leave.
- Explain processes and payroll/benefits impacts.
- Ensure communication with stakeholders.
- Update the HRIS and follow up on cases.
Operational Payroll Support
- Ensure the integrity of timesheet data.
- Participate in data validation checks for payroll preparation.
- Act as backup for payroll processing.
Specialized Operational Support
- Respond to complex requests related to HR data and absences.
- Support audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Qualifications :
- Excellent command of an HRIS (HiBob is a significant asset).
- Advanced Excel (Microsoft) skills.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Power Query and Power BI is an asset.
- Strong analytical and data validation skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience producing structured data files.
- Good understanding of payroll cycles.
- Experience with Canadian payroll and benefits (U.S. is an asset).
- Knowledge of legal requirements related to work related absences (an asset).
- This position must be bilingual as the candidate will be responsible for working with documentation in both French and English and communicating orally and in writing with both French-speaking and English-speaking partners/clients/suppliers/colleagues.
