Role Description

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) Arcadis centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3000 talented individuals working in offices across Romania India and Philippines providing Capability Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services in collaboration with our global businesses.

The MEPF Discipline (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing and Fire Protection) in the GECs is comprised of cross-functional teams that contribute to the development of innovative MEPF solutions that optimize energy efficiency sustainability and occupant comfort. Our ability to effectively manage projects assess client needs and provide technical guidance is crucial in delivering successful outcomes using the most innovative way of doing computational design.

Your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Conducts engineering design of water distribution (cold hot industrial etc) waste water distribution and rainwater distribution under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Designs calculates sketches 3D modeling diagrams schematic drawings and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Build proficiency in REVIT and other software used in the design process.
  • Performs the tasks within the agreed-upon budget and schedule.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as directed by senior engineers.
  • Follow company standards and procedures including design and checking.
  • Preparing all the necessary drawings for the specific phase of projects (report 2D plans schematics sections).

Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • Bachelors Degree in Public Health or Building services.
  • Good knowledge of design software (e.g. AutoCAD) and calculation software.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Public Health engineering is required.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Eager to learn new capabilities and skills.
  • Basic knowledge of norms and standards related to Public Health systems.
  • Candidate to have problem solving skills creativity to show proactivity and analytical skills.
  • Good planning organizational and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • To show interest in personal and professional growth in a challenging rewarding and competitive professional environment.
  • To be able to perform his/her own quality check and to be conscious around safety in design principles.

Nice to have:

  • Masters degree in Public Health or Building services.
  • Basic knowledge of Revit MEP.
  • Participation in internships for AEC companies
  • Candidate to show out-of-the box thinking in order to identify any opportunities for automation or innovation.
