Job Summary

Develop and design drainage systems stormwater networks flood control structures and erosion/sedimentation control measures.
Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools such as HEC-HMS HEC-RAS StormCAD Civil 3D SWMM or equivalent.
Prepare engineering plans profiles cross-sections detail sheets and technical specifications.
Conduct site assessments field inspections and data collection to support design development.
Prepare hydrology/hydraulics reports drainage impact studies technical memos and design documentation for permitting and approvals.
Assist in responding to regulatory agencies clients and internal reviewers.
Maintain organized and complete project records.
Ensure all designs and outputs adhere to local national and international standards guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Review and validate calculations drawings and reports prepared by junior engineers and CAD technicians.
Identify design risks and propose mitigation strategies or alternative solutions.
