Were looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our UKI New Verticals this role youll help us manage strategic relationships with major grocery and retail partners driving their growth and developing a best in class value proposition for our customers.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll be joining the New Verticals team. We look after our Grocery and Retail partners in Deliveroos most mature market partnering closely with global functions to deliver cutting-edge results in a high-growth division.

Heres what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a strategic Grocery or Retail partner bridging the gap between their needs and Deliveroos internal teams.

  • Performance Ownership: Drive business growth through proactive reporting quarterly business reviews and identifying specific levers to improve partner performance.

  • Marketing & Promotions: Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions as your partners scale collaborating with cross-functional marketing teams.

  • CVP Development: Ensure partners maintain an attractive Customer Value Proposition by optimising selection pricing and service levels.

  • Expansion & Roll-outs: Own the execution of new site roll-outs mapping coverage gaps to ensure the successful expansion of your partners footprint.

  • Internal Advocacy: Represent Deliveroo across your partners organisation while ensuring internal stakeholders provide the necessary support to hit joint targets.

What Youll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

  • Commercial Depth: Significant experience in account management or commercial roles (typically 4-5 years) ideally within the grocery or retail sector.

  • Data Fluency: Confident in analysing data to cut through the noise and provide clear actionable recommendations for growth.

  • Partner Obsession: Proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate across all levels of an organisation.

  • Strategic Agility: Ability to create strategies to drive joint business growth and a willingness to trial new ideas at a rapid pace.

  • Collaborative Mindset: A team player who can get the best out of those around them and work effectively within a dynamic high-growth environment.
