About the role
As a Medical Scientist (MeS-1) based in Murray Bridge youll play a valued role in delivering a high-quality multi-disciplined pathology service within a regional laboratory setting. Youll undertake facilitate and apply scientific and technical knowledge to perform a broad range of routine diagnostic techniques contributing to problem definition planning execution analysis and reporting. With supervision youll also support the development selection and adoption of new techniques and methodologies helping ensure services remain safe accurate and responsive to community needs.
Working closely with colleagues across SA Pathology youll build strong internal and external relationshipscommunicating with clinicians clients suppliers and other pathology providers to support timely testing and reliable results. About You
Youre a motivated Medical Scientist who brings sound scientific knowledge strong technical skills and a team-focused approach to delivering high-quality pathology services in a laboratory environment.
- Recognised qualifications aligned with NPAAC requirements with a solid foundation in pathology laboratory science and quality procedures
- Strong technical capability including performing accurate diagnostic testing using analytical equipment and laboratory systems and maintaining and troubleshooting equipment
- Well organised and proactive able to manage workloads meet daily targets follow procedures with minimal supervision and identify issues early with practical solutions
- Professional and collaborative communicator who values teamwork customer service and confidentiality and works effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to support safe high-quality laboratory practice
